Switching is simple…

Switching to Octopus energy can be completed in four easy steps.

1. Get a quote…

Click the button below, input your postcode on the page, and click the get a quote button. You will then complete a small form about your details and energy consumption. From this form, you will then be given a quote and a breakdown of the quote. You will also be provided with a range of smart tariffs if you have a smart meter.

2. Pick a tariff…

Now that you have been provided with a range of tariffs, you get to choose the best one that suits you. There is currently a standard variable tariff available for most customers, but there are also some special tariffs available if you have green technology at your home. There are tariffs for smart EV charging, heat pump owners and homes that have solar panels.

3. Submit your details

Once you have chosen the tariff you want to be on, you will then be asked to setup your direct debit. Once this is all inputted simply submit your details and you will receive a confirmation email from the CEO of Octopus Energy welcoming you to the family.

4. Sit back and relax…

You’ve done it! Wahooo! Put the kettle on, make a cuppa and let Octopus Energy do the rest. They will contact your current supplier and get the handover all sorted. On the day you switch, you will receive an email from Octopus Energy informing you that you have successfully switched. If you use the £50 credit link provided on this site after your first direct debit you will get £50 credit into your account.
